what the hell is it with celebrities posting pictures of themselves with short hair, waiting for the reaction, and then being all like it's a joke people!!!

so annoying.

well, the budding amateur comedian posted an update today on her facebook wall and here's a little snippet:

wow, when I posted those photos with the short hair I had no idea everyone would all go bananza....( my dear friends, I never actually said I cut my hair!) so for the sake of my email inbox and it's stressful 24 hours, I would like to show you the below pictures...my hair is still long...and blonde.

no maria, you never actually said you cut your hair, but you definitely implied it.

i mean...duh!

the thing that's the most shocking to me though is the reaction.

namely the backlash (i'm guessing) that she received?

i mean, were people actually going apesh*t and clogging her inbox with emails that have the words why, why, WHY????!!!! in the subject line?

seriously???

get a grip people, it's just hair.
